Ichnofossils 

Most fossils are the remains of plant or animal body parts that have been altered and preserved through the fossilization process. Ichnofossils are the fossilized evidence of animal or plant activity, but not the actual organism itself. Tracks, burrows, feeding trails, and coprolites are all examples of ichnofossils.
